Count, I'm pretty sure this watch is up you alley... L&H Georg in RG with enamel dial.

Jan 29, 2021,14:28 PM

It's a classically designed rectangular case, that houses one of the most inspired calibers I've had the pleasure to enjoy in many years. I sold my other L&H Johann of 11 years enjoyment to get this piece and have zero regrets. It is arabic numerals, which for me is usually not my choice, but in this case it works really well. Small touches on the enamel dial make for me the watch front side; the blue diamonds at 12,3,6 &9 within the minute track. Turning over this watch to look at the amazing Cal VIII, one is struck by the contrasting black polished steel bar cocks gleaming against the frosted gold plates together with the gold wheel and blued steel screws! The slow beat caliber has depth and design unlike other watchmakers today, and one can spend hours with a loupe admiring the multiple aspects of hand finishing techniques on show.

It is significant;y better in person than even these images reveal. Two years of ownership and many more to go might persuade you to jump in too!

HAGWE All,
Tim
