Hello dear friends, Good news, the weekend starts now at WristScan and we are having a virtual GTG at the best pub in the world, The Crown & Hands ! It’s obviously the best pub in the world as it’s owned by The WristScan Pub Co. Join us for this authentic...
and Foie Gras is the classic pairing, perfect with your Patek. That’s what I call a great combination ! Have you had this watch in your collection for long ?
A few situations at the same GTG.. maybe I changed cloth so maybe a GTG over 2 days.. With cans for the afternoon drink and talk and on the table for a long and nice GTG-dinner Best regards Hans ...
Good to have you joining us and I love your first shot with the vintage Omega Ranchero. The Seamaster 300 is a personal favourite. Is this a watch that you have had for many years ?
Dear Cpt , It is always a pleasure to participate I have had both SM300, the CK2913 and the 165.024 for around 14-15 years The CK2913 was bought from a forum member on this forum Hagwe Hans
Good to see you joining us and as The Crown & Hands is the best virtual pub in the world we have an extensive choice of coffee. If you are taking it easy at the start of our GTG on the beverage, you certainly made up for it with the watches 🤩 … See yo...
I thought I would match some of my bottles of bourbon with my watches. The overhyped, but still excellent. The store picks. The classics. The independents. Not for everyone, but I love them. Always an excellent choice. The under appreciated. And the grail...
Elijah Craig is also great, but can't reach Blonton's barrel proof or Stagg Jr, which are the same stuff to me, just with a different name! 🧐 Those two are delicious cherry bombs!
Very hard to find these days. The Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is a bit easier to get, and is really quite tasty. Better than the regular Elijah Craig, and consistently good.
I went to college with a bunch of guys from Kentucky that introduced me to it. Have been a big fan ever since. Unfortunately, like watches, the hype has grown to the point where there is too much scarcity and too much price inflation. So, finding a really...
Welcome to the Crown & Hands Mo ! The RAW Ornament looks very good, I particularly like the salmon grain dial. Very cool. Would your recommend this watch to anyone considering it ?
Team, Maybe not directly in the pub, but allow me to bend the occasion & location a bit ( more such as Drinks, Chilling & tic-tacs).. A cool shot (wih my DSA - EU) on a hot day - I‘ll stick with Aqua Minerale here.. Cup of Espresso ? A relaxing beer after...

It was a lovely evening of wine and food marriage. Food was mainly “montaditos” (tiny slices of bread with a variety of food onto them) and wines were simply the stars of the evening. RUDELES is a tiny family winery located in the Ribera del Duero area in...
Very interesting and I agree with you about finding small producers of wine that are passionate about the product. Northern Spain produces some excellent wine.
I particularly like the second and third shots of your Seiko “Pogue”, very cool ! Not an easy watch to find in good condition. Have you had this one for long ?
. . . located in the San Fernando Valley. How English? Roger Daltrey owned a house in walking distance. So what would be my libation of choice? An Irish Red. Now, for a true story about our gang's pub. Several years ago, I walked in early one afternoon an...
Can you get a post about three Art’s, two Omega’s a pint of beer, a glass of red wine and a girl called Linda. No wonder Roger Daltrey bought a house in walking distance !
of myself in there, or wearing a watch. It must have been the smoke, or maybe the drinks being splashed about? This is a favorite photo showing all the watches we brought on a trip. Only Mrs Cazalea and I are in the photo. IF watches are being shown off, ...
You hit our theme perfectly with your photos and the good thing about a virtual GTG is you don’t have to say no to anyone handling your watches ;-)). Thanks for joining us, what are you drinking today ?
….I’ve brought along a pre-Bond Omega with a Guinness aged dial! After quaffing that I’ll be switching to the house white! Have a great evening everyone! Andy Mac ...

… this GTg! And a wonderful place to gather you choose! You open with a wonderful Pam which I love for its thick luminous markers and GMT complication. You know that traveling from so far from my Country makes difficult to carry many watches so I must fly...
It’s good to have you joining us for the GTG. I have to say that all your watches are perfect choices and you know how much I love the new Rolex Pepsi, but the new 42 mm Bronzo in blue looks superb in the sunlight. Thank you again for joining us for Wrist...
My personal favs are your terrific Pepsi and the shot thereof; and as a second I would pick the Bronze Panerai, a compelling Beast ! Thx for these fine shares ! HAGWE & Best to you and yours ! hs
as how my sense of smell hasn’t returned to 100% post Covid (for me wasn’t a big deal, thankfully) I went with a decent Pinot recommended by my goto wine guy. ...
I have got this one in August 2012, by just walking into AD on Abu Dhabi paying retail minus 10 % discount . There were the days. Luckily our club in KL has a nice pol bar so can safely join you and enjoy virtual meet.
We are getting ready for Lunar New Year and family Reunion. It has been tough last 2 years, same for everyone, but we are looking forward to safer and better 2022. Credit to Internet ...
My son on laws got together and ordered everything on line to make our own brew. It's actually quite tasty and as easy as following a recipe and then letting it ferment for 2 weeks then bottling and sit of another 2 weeks. The 5837 is NY all around favori...
So no time for fresh shots but let’s see what I have ready 😊 Two watches that tend to be popular amongst the members here… And one that’s quite a legend amongst those who have been around for a bit longer 😊 ...
Good to have you joining for a quick drink and always a pleasure to see your watches, especially the legendary Vacheron. Superb ! Have a great weekend !
. . . for a new complication: an hour hand that springs into action at 4 pm and resets to 0 at 6 pm. As my pal Rupen was fond of saying, "One should not dine on an empty stomach." 🍸
That’s quite a collection ! I particularly love the Reno and Vegas shots. Do you collect these special vintage bottles ? Thank you for joining us this weekend.
I do not necessarily collect them per se, there is a sentimental relationship/story with how I obtained these. Coincidentally, I did live/work in LV and Reno too.
