Four Roses is the closest bourbon to scotch, very oaky 👍
Elijah Craig is also great, but can't reach Blonton's barrel proof or Stagg Jr, which are the same stuff to me, just with a different name! 🧐 Those two are delicious cherry bombs!
Those two are really excellent pours.
Very hard to find these days. The Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is a bit easier to get, and is really quite tasty. Better than the regular Elijah Craig, and consistently good.
Not only harder to find, but also imnensly increased in price too.
But to be fair: Stsgg and Blanton's barrel proof are worth the extra money. Luckily I bought four Stagg and two of the B. at the time. 🥃🥃
