"Texture on the case"? I assume you mean the scratches ...
well, direct flash light is merciless and emphasizes even the finest scratches as if they were huge treches. I can assure you that in normal life, this golden watch does not look beaten up, but gold is soft, and already the cuff's fabric causes fine scratches.
The watch is the Planetarium by Ulysse Nardin, an astronomical watch developed by Ludwig Oechslin:
Here it is fresh from factory service, and you see there is no texture on the case.
