So I had to dig deep for this one!
I have only ever owned one Japanese watch - received as a gift for my 16th birthday back in the 1970’s.
About 6 years after the quartz revolution we started to see some nice analogue quartz watches - and this the model I received. Still remember the tagline
‘Seiko - some day all watches will be made this way’
