Let's share the watches in our collections made in Japan.  

First up from my collection: a '66 Seiko Sea Lion . . . 

. . . passed down from Dad over twenty years ago.  My watchmaker at the time serviced it, then ten years later another watchmaker butchered it, and finally restored several years ago by my current watchmaker who trained at Seiko in the '60s.  Don't wear it often, but when it's on my wrist Dad is with me, too.

. . . but gifted it to a friend.  Been threatening myself to get a 62MAS but also drawn towards Citizen divers with similar aesthetics and currently available.

The Seiko 5 was acquired by Dad at the same time as the Sea Lion; it was serviced just once to the best of my recollection, my brother still wears it occasionally.  The urushi dial (that jml also owns) was gifted to my brother as well.  (The pool cue, too . . . purpleheart shaft, apricot and camatillo rosewood handle with buffalo horn trim.) 

Only one Japanese watch in my collection, but one I love: the SLGW005.
