Hope you all had a great week, I know I did… HAGWE Blomman...

Celebrating the last Friday of the month...

 By: pplater : May 27th, 2010-16:39
Not having had as good a week as Blomann obviously has, the end of the week (and the end of the month) can't come soon enough. Trying to lift the mood a bit, wearing this today - May everyone else, though, have a good Friday and a good weekend: particular...

Seeing that lifts my mood, pplater! [nt]

Here's hoping that you'll have a great June! Best wishes, Nikolaj

Thanks Nikolaj....

 By: pplater : May 28th, 2010-02:13
... here's hoping that we all have a much better month than last, and an even better one next month! Cheers, pplater.

Can´t get enough ...

of this beauty Oliver

From a man of your taste...

 By: pplater : May 28th, 2010-16:29
.. (in all things), Oliver, that is quite a compliment to Mr V. Will you one day add his watch to your other quality pieces? Cheers, pplater.

You are too kind, but that ...

 By: small-luxury-world : May 29th, 2010-03:09
is my "enemy" as well ... Regarding your question: I would love to do so. When it was introduced I didn´t have the "balls" ... rumour about "own movement" ... We will see. Oliver

I see......

 By: MiniCooper : May 29th, 2010-09:08
that you are flirting with the idea.... cheers

Well, it is probably ...

 By: small-luxury-world : May 29th, 2010-17:33
much more than just flirting. But believe me it is not that easy, at least for me.

Thanks for lifting

everyone's mood, it is a killer, enjoy PPlater

Wow, pplater...It seems that this KV is stuck on your wrist

 By: amanico : May 28th, 2010-06:30
For 3 weeks, now! I can understand. HAGWE to you. Nicolas

It sometimes feels that way, Amanico...

 By: pplater : May 28th, 2010-16:22
It is one of those watches that seems to get more than its fair share of wrist time. It would be on the short list in reply to one of those "If you could keep only one [or two; or three] watches in your watchbox... etc?" type posts. How soon you forget, t...

Yes, you're right on all points.

 By: amanico : May 28th, 2010-20:58
First, the last week Amvox Composition was brilliant. If I forgot it, this is because I HAD to forget it, as such a package is a big temptation, and you know me, I can't resist to Temptation... 2d, about your Kari, yes, I can understand how this one is on...

Love the teardrop lugs on that one!

By: blomman Mr Blue : May 29th, 2010-04:56

I had this one in my mind for some weeks, now. And something made that this watch is mine, now. Hence, the nickname " Friendship Watch". Best, Nicolas

supercool watch

 By: Ryan5446 : May 28th, 2010-10:51
a real beauty with a lot of soul !! well done and congratulations my friend. Hope to see some double shots with your other blackbezel GMT soon.

Will do, Steven...

My 4th Vintage GMT has to be celebrated as it deserves! Best, my friend. Nicolas

Nice mid 60's GMT Master

congrats ! Where will you stop ? LOL

One day, my friend..;One day.

 By: amanico : May 28th, 2010-12:30
No, in fact, I think I just ended with the Vintage Rolex GMTs... My Quattuor will be difficult to beat, excpet with a 6542, but its fragile bezel worries me a lot. Best, Nicolas

First time ...

 By: AndrewD : May 28th, 2010-15:39
Very nice, Nico. First time I have seen a Rolex dial age like this. Interesting. A

The bloody dials make me do the plunge...

 By: amanico : May 28th, 2010-20:53
The watch looks so different that I have a good reason to get it. Yes, this dial is really original, the round circles are non matching with the triangle and the rectangles. This is really impressive. I just have to calm down with the GMTs, or I will end ...

your last addition...??...

 By: FanFrancisco : May 28th, 2010-21:59
very nice uneven patina, can't believe it, but it actually is evenly distributed over the dial. very nicely look watch! by the way, Nico, you are sure this your "last" addition to this line...LOL. stefan

Well, I hope so, Stefan.

 By: amanico : May 28th, 2010-22:12
I have so many themas to end, that I really hope this will be my last catch in this line. I'm still hesitating a lot to get THE Rolex GMT, the mother of all GMTs, the Ref 6542. Its fragile and unfindable bakelite bezel worries me a lot. So, it seems that ...

Stunning, sublime...

 By: boa2 : May 29th, 2010-05:05
And every other superlative I can muster. Nicolas, enjoy that beautiful watch! Best, Howard

What I like about the JLC Amvox 2, is that it does not have 2 extra pushers, and what I like more it is somehow intuitive and fast to operate when needed. What I dislike about it... well, truly, NOTHING ;-)...

I am French you know, I forgot to say...
