more expensive than the Steel, and the Pt even more so. It might be an explanation. RG was the right metal for me: I wanted the warm vintage charm. And I definitely wear it! Cheers.

Yes. The RG was definitely much costlier. You seem to have a strong preference for RG watches in general - as you have quite a few of them! I like all the metals. I don't always like white gold though - the Patek Philippe white gold watches I have sometim... 

dropped the price of platinum a bit, but is it likely to happen? I have doubts. My taste for rose gold is part of a taste for warm tones: I often find white metals cold. But there’s no absolute rule: platinum was the right metal for my 5098. And if I ever...  

I do like the richness and luster of rose and yellow gold. Although most of my watches are white gold or steel. Looks like I need to add more colored gold watches! More excuses to spend money!
