I think it may have gotten lost in translation?

Hi PoyFR,

My communications with VC over the past couple of years have ranged from exceeding outstanding to poor.

I made these types of inquiries to VC when I sent my watches back to Geneva for full restoration and Certificates of Authenticity.  I discovered that sometimes communications become mixed up or lost due to the Me-Richemont-VC triangle, as all watches sent back to Geneva from the U.S. need to go through Richemont's Service Center in Texas.

I think part of the problem may be my lack of French language skills when directly communicating with VC, especially in writing long messages.  I agree with you, verbal communications have been much more effective and satisfying in my experiences as well.

After sending messages to the Geneva Observatory last week, I also contacted VC's Concierge in New York.  The concierge replied that he received my message and communicate with Geneva on my behalf to see what type of information is available - so I'm feeling more positive about the potential outcome.

I'll post my results on the forum when I get them.  Thanks for your advice and help!

Best Regards, Dan
