Good for UN!
Rather than look at it for what it isn’t, I’m inclined to look at it for what it is. Viewed on its own, I think this is a great development, and makes an interesting technical approach and aesthetic available at a lower price point.
I’ll be taking a closer look, for sure.

The answer is in your question: Not a Freak anymore. A Freak is something which is far away from the beaten paths. This one is too close from what is a watch, especially the crown.
This Freak X is too wise to be called a Freak. Sorry, but not for me. Best, Nicolas

The problem with the watch is the name. A "Freak" can never have a crown.
If we could go back in time, and this watch could have launched before the real Freak, it might have been a nice precursor of what was to come. But that would have reduced the impact of the real Freak, which was one of the most industry-shattering launche...

Interesting comments. I must say that I am still true to the original concept of the Freak because that was truly an original concept.
