Very sad news
And very strange for those of us who have only known her as monarch.
It’s going to be tough for the royal family. It’s hard enough to grieve for a family member at any time, let alone with the eyes of the world on you.
It won't happen...
...but I'd hoped that Charles would give it a miss and go straight to his son. Not a monarchy fan, but if you're going to have one it would be good to continue with a younger generation imho.
