I agree to an extent
Apple computers are overpriced and look awful IMHO, especially
the white notebooks. And some of the build quality is bad,
witness all the discoloured white Apple notebooks.
BUT
I like my Ipod Nano. This is my second one, and I have never had any
problems with either of them. The current Nano in the aluminium guise is
the best looking audio player out there IMHO, and the tactile feel of the device
is unrivalled. All other players I've handled feel plasticky and cheap
(except for one 24k gold plated one from Sweden but that cost as much as
an Omega). Also the ipod delivers excellent sound for its size and battery life,
with a good pair of in-ear phones it is one of the best sounding players.

I don't want to be the devil's associate, BUT you can't say you don't want to hear about touch screen therefor it is the future... heard about microsoft's SURFACE ?
touch screen is obviously the future IMO
but when u ONLY have a touch screen on a phone, given the size of our fingers, that just doesn't make sense. IPhone's screen is bigger, but the touch screen part of the keyboard is still too small. Even Steve Jobs made some typos (he fixed them of course)...

We converted to Mac at home a couple years ago and have been completely problem free. Let's hope it stays that way. But I must say, our experience overall has been excellent.
