Brian Ferry was the ultimate cool guy
I mentioned Avalon in my mix. Roxy Music did some great music, but Brian Ferry was the ultimate suave lead singer.
He did a killer version of "Take Me to the River" on his solo record "The Bride Stripped Bare" (great title). I liked it almost more than the Talking Heads version.

i actually bought one of those "Best of Queen" compilation, i dont own the original album....must get my hands on one. when i was younger, i couldnt afford all the albums, in cassette tapes form. but i have build up a good CD collection from the 80s.

And Queen was then managed by John Reid. I remember seeing the demo of this video. No expense was spared on the state-of-the-art recording, which is why it looked and sounded so great.
