Too many great songs of music from the 80's. And speaking of the 80's, was in Vegas over the weekend so I'm trying to upload some videos I took from some of the parties that had some songs that really brought flashbacks from the 80's. Will share shortly! ...

And very nice taste! Of course some Deep Purple songs deserve to be mentionned, such as " When a blind man cries " with a superb guitar solo, ala Pink Floyd. And what about Stairway to Heaven, which always gave you enough time to better know the girl with...
I'm a big fan of the first Ultravox albums... When John Foxx was the lead singer. I loved a lot Midge URE, too. What great and hot memories! Best, Nicolas
But so many of your musical sensibilities echo mine. Besides the iconic "Lamb", who would ever consider "Smallcreeps Day" up here except for me? Love that record. Also loved: Steve Hackett "Spectral Mornings" Bill Bruford "Feels Good to Me" Jeff Beck "Blo...
its weird Snak, but i seem to have listed a lot of slow ballads even though i was a heavy rocker. i think that shows my musical profession coming out in my choices. most of my musical listening was done while i was at school and in the army as a musician....

. . . Psycho Killer is an enormously powerful song, musically and lyrically: I can’t seem to face up to the facts. I’m tense and nervous and I... can’t relax. I can’t sleep, cause my bed’s on fire. Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire. Psycho Killer Qu'est...
" Psycho Chicken ", if I remember well, performed by " The Fools ". Was a greaaaatissime version, with true chicken inside. I'm a big fan of the Talking Heads. Remain in light was another terrific album, maybe my favourite! Best, Art. Nico Chicken.
Completely psychedelic version! It was on the " Sold Out " Album. The funny thing is that I found this album a few weeks ago, but sadly, this song was not included! What an interpretation! Cot cot cot cot... Nico Chicken.

i actually bought one of those "Best of Queen" compilation, i dont own the original album....must get my hands on one. when i was younger, i couldnt afford all the albums, in cassette tapes form. but i have build up a good CD collection from the 80s.
And Queen was then managed by John Reid. I remember seeing the demo of this video. No expense was spared on the state-of-the-art recording, which is why it looked and sounded so great.
they are truly the 80s icons...some others like U2 has evolved, and continue into today, or at least into the 90s. some of the younger members should prob start a 90s list. anything post 2000, i will prob fumble.
I can't pretend to remember the songs, but I sure can list my favorite bands (I still listen to them all): [not in special order] Led Zeppelin U2 Phil Collins/Genesis The Beatles Bob Marley Bruce Springsteen Crosby, Still, Nash & Young Van Morrison Eagles...

Saw him in concert back in the day. Great shows. Killer guitar player (Steve Stevens). Great songs. The guy still tours and looks good today. Who could forget "White Wedding"?
He also played with Blue Oyster Cult ( a legandary band, by the way ) and with Rick Occasek on one of his albums. Steve Vai is another one. Well, some 15 years ago, I was in a bar in Paris, and Billy Idol was here... He ruined all the bar... Best, Nicolas
If I hadn't kept to the 10 song limit "Eyes Without a Face" would have made the cut. I love the lines: "Steal a car and go to Las Vegas oh, the gigolo pool. Hanging out by the state line, Turning holy water into wine Drinkin' it down, oh I'm on a bus on a...
