When the rose gold Credor Eichi ll was launched in 2018, I rushed to my AD to try it on but unfortunately the watch did not ignite the necessary passion from within me. The porcelain dial, hand painted numerals, the ultra smooth glide of the seconds hand ...

I am in total agreement but I am somewhat biased. No idea why it had taken me six years to pull the trigger! Almost a no brainer for most

Nice journey, whether it's maturation, or just how tastes evolve, it doesn't get much better. Similar to you, the 1908 caught my attention..I just would prefer manual!

I would love a manual 1908 too but hey, with the way allocations go these days, I will be happy with a dummy 1908!

An extraordinary and special piece. I'm a big fan of time only watches. The rose gold case is lovelier than the platinum imo. I asked the boutique in NY if I could see one. They said they were all in Japan and if I wanted to see it I had to leave a deposi... 

Many dealers I do know operate on this system but to me it is their loss because part of the watch buying experience is the customer service offered. An Eichi ll will always sell and any dealer who gets an opportunity should stock on or two in their shops...

I have a very small collection so every purchase is a huge event for me!

I have a simple policy which I follow strictly. When I buy a watch, another has to go. In this case it is my unworn Kikuchi Nakagawa Murakumo which ironically is worth more than the Eichi ll in the secondary market. ...  

I’d ask again. Especially is you are serious. There will be Eichi passing through I’m sure. I’d also reach out to Joe Kirk directly.

I'm a big fan of the Eichi II myself, the movement undoubtedly has some of the best anglage out there! We'll need more photos of this one!

I would end up unrecognisable as it is 40c there with high humidity. Just an hour in the pool a day has done the trick for me

It is stifling to say the least. Heat without humidity and heat with humidity as you know are quite different. I shall suffer silently here and ogle at my watches as a consolation

It reminds me of the first generation Honda NSX. 30 years ago they could not sell. Now, they are like gold dust!

Totally under rated like the first generation Honda NSX!

I am glad l could influence you into acquiring one of the most beautiful yet terribly understated and unheralded time only watches ever made, Apart from being made to the highest standard, it is a watch for those 'in the know'!

I tend to be very slow at deciding whether or not to buy a watch but hopefully this will remain in my small collection forever.

Not many watches sit above it, if any at all. Enjoy this amazing piece!
