Why ist the Sub 168000 so undervalued
Or why are others so overpriced ?
I mean, the ref 168000 must be rare (not very rare but defenitely rare) Nobody knows how many pieces they made but since they were made maximum 1 year it can't be much. On the other hand, Red subs were made several years (I know production was not as high as it was in 1987 but over the years I guess they made quite a lot red subs)
The 168000 is not expensive while the red sub is pretty expensive. Is it snobbery ? Do people only want to pay a lot more if other people can see the difference between watch A and watch B ? The red text is visible for others while the extra zero between the lugs is invisible.
Anyway, a 168000 is much more rare than a 16800 or a 1680, and definitely more rare than the actual 16610. Why is this 168000 much more sought after by collectors ???
