The Submariner 126610LN. The black Sub Date. The one that feels like the answer to a question you didn't know you were asking.
I've been thinking about this reference a lot lately. Not because it's new... we're a few years in now since the 2020 release. But because it's become something of a modern benchmark. The 41mm case wears beautifully. That slightly wider bracelet with the new clasp. The way the ceramic bezel catches light. And that dial... there's something about the way Rolex does black. It's not just black. It's depth.
This is the Submariner for right now. Not trying to be retro, not chasing vintage cues for their own sake. Just a supremely capable tool watch that happens to look spectacular doing its job.
I'm curious about your experiences with the 126610LN. How does it wear for you? Did you come from an older Sub, or is this your first? What made you choose black over green? I'd love to see your wrist shots. Natural light, desk diver, actual diving... doesn't matter. Let's see how this reference lives in the real world.
