That was PPro but without the community..
There was really no one to share this guilty pleasure with.. It was easier to share Playboy favorites with friends than share your enthusiasm over a watch.. a mechanical one at that during the era of quartz. Going to a watch store never even crossed my mind back then for a variety of reasons. The print ad was my window display. How I fell in love with my first Rolex.. the white dial exp2.

it nurtured imagination more than today. I still remember looking at these pictures, dreaming of these watches more then 30 years ago. Somehow made me dream more back then compared with the information overflow of today. Br, Dirk
