Rolex

Thanks for sharing your Rolex Explorer story.

From what I understand you want tough Rolex i.e. waterproof i.e. carefree and vintage seems not to fit that goal. However, vintage is not always vintage. True vintage at is purest level is a Rolex with a 4 digit model number and a plastic / plexi crystal as Rolex vintage is not defined as x years old which is a moving target. So what this does is open up a whole realm of choice from GMT's to Submariners and all sports model with sapphire crystal rough and tough waterproof Rolex watches. Great proportions under 40mm great balance dial and hands and great profile. Even less shinny as they are older. So you really have a huge range of choice from the mid 1980's all the way to 2000 which are all in the sweet spot.
Good hunting and looking forward to hearing a great conclusion.
