I really am not a fan of modern Rolex but vintage Rolex is an entirely different matter and this one of yours just has the most beautiful creamy patina and I much prefer it on a strap as i think it looks much nicer. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
We are spoiled for eye candy on this site.
So many amazing watches shared by our members. But these vintage Explorers, to me, are superlative. I toyed with buying a full set 1016 last year but it was too much for what it was (thanks to the council of a certain Parisian Counselor who advised me 😁)....
Why not upgrade to a rubber one?
I recently was able to make a rubber strap from helvetus fit my vintage rolex. you can find their rolex rubber straps here
