A big thanks to this forum for helping me navigate my first quasi-vintage watch purchase. I started off a few weeks ago with the triple 6, but that felt too top-heavy for my wrist. Then I fell in love with this 16800, but the original bracelet didn’t have enough removable links to fit my thin wrist. I asked this forum whether it would be unforgivable to place a modern bracelet on this watch, and I was assured that this would be only a venial, not a mortal, sin. Thanks for that — I’m very happy with how this worked out. (Wrist shot courtesy of the Leica Q3 macro function — highly recommended!)
