I feel for you
I too am looking to get the Daytona and I am not paying the additional premium. Was at the dealers the other day admiring the beauty...unfortunate is a see no buy sort of thingy.
Worse part was that it wasn't reserved for anyone but just waiting to go to the highest bidder. Checked if they will sell the old models at list price...but no way. Still commanding a premium.
Will put my Q number as well.

All over the the South Asia region. Especially where the dealers have shops in the region, the prices will be controlled. The current asking price is approx USD19k. Patiently waiting to get mine. Cheers

I can only assume it isn't uncommon over where you are..?? Here in England it is very strict....in fact on the opposite side if a Rolex dealer is found to be offering a discount they will get warned and then loose the contract. Even I don't get a discount...
