When I read posts like this, the premise is always that if the watch was available for sale by a dealer at list price, then you in particular would be able to buy it at list price?
Why do you think you would have access to a new Daytona at list price?
If sold at list price, surely the dealer would allocate its Daytonas only to its very best customers.
Are you one of those best customers?
If so, then I understand your sentiment to an extent.
If not, then you wouldn't have access to the Daytona at list price anyway, so there is no reason for anger.
Personally, I'm not offended by a premium, but I also won't pay more than MSRP. I'll either wait, or move my focus elsewhere.
