Tourbillons
I can't think of a more useless complication than a minute repeater, unless you happen to be blind or live at the north pole. As I understand it, most everyday tourbillons are still OEM'd by a small number of workshops that supply many of the brands that have added them because of the fashion for them, not because of the desire to move the art of watchmaking forward. I wouldn't ever chose to tar RM (R&P), FPJ or PP with that brush.

Thanks for the info regarding Tourbillion . I wasn't aware that not only the feature itself isn't quite necessary, but it's also fragile. This info save me a bundle of money from having to pay for something that I don't need.
