Patek Philippe

You are eagle-eyed!

Yes, I saw it in a window in 2012 and not only once since then. So it was a very intereting opportunity to hold it and study it.

First, I'm usually not keen on brushed dials but that's very personnal. However, in the metal, the brush streams look so thin that it gives a very nice touch to the watch.

I really like its case, lugs and bezel's 50's very pure design. And last but not least, the 31-260 caliber that I love: very beautiful bridges cut and alignement, so are the wheels. It has the micro rotor, it is wide and thin, very well finished., pulsomax escapement, spiromax spiral. Perfect.

But you already know all that, don't you!

As for the gold colors, well, it is really a question of watch: there are some I can see only in white metals and others only in rose of yellow gold.

Have a look at them, just for the curiosity!

Thank you Hashluck.

Cheers, Mark
