Well, I've just been able to try the 5227R seriously but couldn't see the WG version yet.
I presume the eggshell colors will play nicely with the colder WG case but only the "live" experience will tell.
I'll try to have alook at it but, until then, yes, it is the black dial version that I would like to study a little bit. Soon I hope.

The RG is probably the best

I never could see this version but indeed I heard in the past the dial looked great in the metal. The small movement can be an element to consider even if I think it is hidden behind a plain caseback (if I'm not wrong).

This is the blue I like from Patek (especially in this year's 6000G)
but I wonder if I feel it will match well with the Calatrava? I think I'm more with the black on this one. As the G already has the black, then maybe a white enamel dial (like the 5116 has?)... or Salmon as the gorgeous London 5070? I've seen the 5496P's ...
