Seriously: for me it's partly about the material and its heaviness but partly also the colour. When I compare the colour of i.e. my 5575G to the platinum watches, I'm always thinking "why did they not use platinum". It shines in a very special way and I must admit that the diamond between the lugs is like a cherry on top of the cake.
