Indeed, the dial color makes it very soft and warm. I think it is 100% homogen that way, in every details.
I must say I pay attention to the disk's color (I noticed it but personally didn't trouble me). The 5227G Black dial from this year will have a blak disk.
I'm sure they could have find a color looking like the dial but not sure it will be as glossy and if the overall look wouldn't look weird as I'm not used to seeing other disk than white or black.
Just my personal observation.

I never could see this version but indeed I heard in the past the dial looked great in the metal. The small movement can be an element to consider even if I think it is hidden behind a plain caseback (if I'm not wrong).
