Patek Philippe

What I ment is...

The 911 is a good example what can happen to a classic: once a great, revolutionary car in design and performance, now a leaking shadow of itself.

The fact that they made a water cooling boxter motor out of an originally air cooled boxter once did not realy work.

In German Porsche sites it is claimed that up to 50% of the first issue of the water cooled ones are faulty.

This effect is called "simmering" there.

And all because as demand for more bhp has grown substantially: you can have naerly any car today with 300 bhp.

Regarding PP:

I do not feel atracted to them cause they are exclusive.

They are bautiful and can create a mood if you indulge on the design.

Regardless what model: entry level or top of the range.

But also here: a classic design does not always work, as the 96 design was designed for simple watches in the first place and not  for really complicated ones ( =300 bhp ).

PS: I find the term "entry level PP" horrible.

Moritz
