Unparalleled refinement
When I think of Patek Philippe, I think of a Rolls-Royce where refinement and construction are of the utmost priority. Price is almost of no consideration and the items speak for themselves. Pateks are not flashy or ostentatious; the watch knows what it is and does not need prove it to anyone. Look at a 5078; relatively simple looking with roman numerals, no date and an odd piece of metal on the left side. The watch does not need to scream out it's cost or it's functions. It is what it is. For that superb refinement, you will pay big $$$$ but know that you are wearing one of the finest watches ever manufactured. Granted Patek had eliminated a lot of the customizable options that it once had but still produces incredibly refined watches that are a beauty and joy to wear.
