The OP asked for opinions, not for agreement.
I am sure the opinions of anonymous internet strangers will not prevent him from buying that Nautilus.
I, in my very subjective opinion which is purely subjective, think that given his wrists, a Nautlius is slightly too big.
I would love to see a wrist shot of him, with a 5120 Cala, with an Acquanaut from the first series, even with a 3796 in rose gold (31mm). Combined with a shirt with the right cuff size for his physique.

And yes, proportions are always subjective and so on.
Still, the "golden ratio" is a concept that wasnt developed by me, but a few years ago. Remember how many people prefer the 5110 to my 5130 (without me being "offended") because the city "ring" has a better proportion to the overall size of the watch? Facial proportions when judging someone's beauty, architecture...it is an ancient concept and it seems that there is some truth in it. Even regaring how much of the shirt cuff should be seen under a jacket (OP does it nicely).
