...I am not talking about what the OP asked for. I am talking about the validity of "your truth" and its basis (or lack of it) in science.
When one makes assertions as if they are fact, and when those assertions are directed as advice as if factually-driven, then it is appropriate that the assertions are examined. And that is what I am doing.
So what we can conclude is that you have very strong opinions about the size of watch that is appropriate to you. To my mind, not much more has been determined other than the fact that golden ratio is not what you were thinking about when you gave that 2/3-3/4 rule....

Do not pay attention to anyone at all. If it's your dream watch, it is you and only you that matters. Go for it. If it makes you happy, go for it. There are guys on this forum who are obsessed by watch size. The only thing that matters is whether you like...

Size is no different to shape, material or any other watch property. It's a personal matter of taste. Buying watches is such a personal (even egoistic) pleasure for me. If I like it, can afford it and can get the Mrs to approve it, that's all that matters...

Size is a very subjective issue. I wear watches from 36mm to 45mm. The most important question is: Does the watch make me smile?

What Baron says is spot on. Your wrist can and should carry any watch (regardless of size) that makes you happy. If it is your dream watch, that is all that matters.

It accentuates the size of the watch. A looser cuff might help and draw less attention to the wrist size.
