My love for PP occured over a time period, not because of their ads or existing fans. I regularly wear my timeless classic 5140G. It is a joy to look at, very functional yet elegant, does not shout out its presence. Frankly, some newer PP models started to become very chunky for my taste and started to look more fashion jewelery. Perhaps the most important reason for me to love some PP models is their understated appearance. The quality of the manufacture is also very important, but thanks to new technology most high-end watches now have comparable quality. As an engineer, I am most impressed by the Langematik perpetual technology. Cheers. Jim
