This is indeed an element I wished to underline
As we are all looking for pleasure in watches, it is in our own interest to widen our experience. It is the same in other fields but the more we focus on a small number of pieces, the more we narrow the chances to enjoy something else.
This is something that we tend to forget as we are of course attracted by what is prettier considering the current aesthetical standards and tastes but we also may narrow our potential to pay a look to more watches that would deserve it, now or in the future after our tastes have evolved.
One should never be scared to "explore" other paths, just for the experience, not necessarily for buying as, in the end, we should of course buy the one we like best.
I think that it is enriching to keep interested in different things than usual and that we even might go towards watches in the future we wouldn't have if we hadn't been taking some distance with what we are used to seeing most of the time and what a majority (on a forum, in a region etc...) likes.
It is of course excitement and love that make us share our watches (like when I share my 5712 that is quite popular and frequently seen on forums too) but as an observer one should also take some distance and take into account that the more he sees fewer references and the more he remains in a smaller array of models.
We should just be aware of this. There is no bad in seeing them, just to know how it works in order to improve our experience and our capability to appreciate something different but that might not be less interesting

I agree....I am bemused when I hear comments in how lazy PP is for not making movements for specific case sizes and how wonderful Lange is!! The 5524 Bey g one criticized for too small case....
