Two things force me to expand my collection only with extreme caution. First, I like to wear my watches, and owning several inevitably reduces the wrist time I can devote to them, which saddens me. Second, as a teacher and therefore on a middle-income, I can only build my collection with the money left to me by my parents, who died when I was in my forties. Putting this money to good use and thinking about what I will leave to my own children is a way of honoring their memory.
Best cordial regards,
Emmanuel
