Dear watch friend and community, unfortunately my house was robbed and among thing four Patek watches got stolen. Watch only, so still have the papers and boxes. Numbers shared with Police, Patek for black listing, with auction houses, re-sellers and deal...  

And hope they will be found and returned. I will also pay attention.

Honestly, this simply makes me want to stop talking, sharing, etc about my watches. That's a knee-jerk reaction but also a very human reaction. Best, Robert

As a note, the 5970P is well worn and not a safe queen. It has clear marks at nine from love and wear. Marks on side of case I too would think it is difficult to sell these without box ad papers and would never buy myself, so probably something that will ...  

I would check listings on chrono24 , you never know, fingers crossed you recover them.

Hopefully no one was hurt so it is "just" material damages and losses.

Sometimes they will drop the watch vs a loan secured by the watch and disappear. You have to think like a money launderer. It’s likely they are just looking for liquidity and not really caring about the value.
