Just for the pleasure of looking ...
some pictures of the PP 5270:

The "brushed" dial and the shape of the almost black indexes are details which I like a lot.
On the wrist it looks not that different as classical PP´s from the past - on the first view (only) ...
... but if you look closer a lot of details have changed.
The back side? Well, it is up to you to judge
Hope you liked that quick set of pictures.

... no pics will render the real thing though. The blue strap matches very well. I chose that pics which is not very clear but its the one that shows best how the dial shines and contrast with the oxidized index and hands. ...

Great pics Oliver, thanks. I am slightly confused though, this is white gold right (I believe it only comes in that metal)? as it gives off a very rose gold feel to it, which gives it a wonderful warmth and a new dimension.... lovely timepiece!!!
5270 pop of the pops

true they started with dial and enamel dials as well. Their dials seems alive, they interact with the surrounding, changing all the time and giving a different feel to the watch depending of the situation. I think this is why we keep on falling deeper in ...

but there are one or two things that are disturbing me. First, I really don't like this dial material and the way it is treated. In the mean time I see that many here appreciate it like that. A question of tastes I guess. Furthermore, I'm not sure I like ...

mark, respect you thoughts. I believe the 5270 is an in person watch. It never looks great in pics in my opinion. The dial in person takes on many personalities depending on environment. That is why owners like myself love the watch. Pardon my ignorance, ...

Hi M', That's indeed what was my conclusion. Watchmaking is a field in which opinions remain very subjective. I don't have a 5270 but have tried it on in the parisian boutique, as I have seen also the 5235 (same dial look). I looked at it from every angle...

A Patek that is timeless! And beautiful and not so busy with the dial. Clean, cool and just a must have! Its been a long time waiting. Since the last series 2499 Patek has not made a nice perpetual chronograph in my opinion. This one will be an Icon the r...

Have seen 5270 at AD.............cool, detached and modern, efficiently organized, all brushed silvery and matte oxydized black.......Perhaps not the warmest piece, but I find it a big winner, for sure. Would be delighted to own one.
