Patek Philippe

If it is about 'collectibility'

then clearly, get the P. That's a no brainer. If it is about 'love', keep your R. I've bought oh so many watches because of so-called collectibility, and just about never kept them... watches are very very personal things. However, it is really hard to let such a collector's item go by. On the other hand, I believe it is a CERTAINTY that you will be able to get another P in the coming year... I believe that many will be seen in the next 18 months, then they will fall into the shadows... just my prediction. I also believe that 'list' is no bargain at this time in history... and a better offer may come down the pike. Not to discuss 'value' but I know that the urgency to grab the P comes from the belief that 'oh my god, I can get one at list!' But..... this is a real recession, and your AD is biting his nails praying you will buy it... WITH ALL THAT SAID, I like the R and G better than the P, in pictures. If it were me, I would buy the P only to throw it ion the vault and let 10 years go by, and wear the R. But remember... this watch is starting at around 140K. It will be a good long while before it hits above and beyond that. Years and years, likely... so.... why do you want it? For collectibility? Investment? Or good old love?
