for once!
First, changing movement for changing movement is not a thing I'm look for (except the 215). The 324, 240, 28-520 are great stuff for their level (I don't talk about the manual chronograph 29-535 or higher complications where the movement are really one of a kind).
VC had to change the movement because of where they were coming from, the Piguet and the decoration+finishing level.
The 240 is far from that and I find the 28-520 still better that the new VC's chrono caliber for instance (and I don't talk about this rail supporting the rotor's weight on the thin movement).
We've been so used to seeing the 240 and 324 that we forget at what level they are still today.
Furthermore, we can't say we haven't been served with quite a number of new models this year. Bringing each year new references is quite a challenge. By the way, if the situation of the economy is that difficult, getting as much completely new models as we had this year is quite a happy surprise and we can't, in my opinion of course, really complain there are facelifts (what other brands don't often even do as they just change colors and material).
You'll have Pt in the future for sure.
Cheers, Mark
