There are so few good and ethical dealers out there. And the vintage world. Oh man! That's why I don't like buying vintage watches. I know I'm going to get some relumed or "force-aged" dial and it won't be disclosed.

Half of these dealers don't have half of the watches they're claiming to sell. They're just trying to get a contact list of potential buyers. Any real buyer who is truly thinking that such a watch is actually for sale is just stupid and naive. The watch w...

Sorry to see that and I'm sure your Dad's treasures will pass on to many generations. Many sellers are using real photos and they are not selling at lower price just to make buyers feel it's a real watch....it;s a very scary world out there.

Perhaps you could do something to digitally watermark your photos...

Maybe Chinese dealer: 50,000,000 Yuan=$7,150,000 USD

so no chance of it being in Yuan. In that used platform, you can state your preferred currency. Besides, the point here is that the photo was that taken by CBB implying that it is her watch that is being sold which is not the case. I stick to my argument ...
