Beautiful post
Great pics. I am also a proud owner of the PP 5110p but purchased mine as a previously owned watch. I would like to be able to switch the leather band for a bracelet as the leather will sweat in summer when I do most of my travelling. I am also the owner of PP 3170/1A, 5140P and the hard to get 5180P.
You're 100 % right !

You and me will always be OK on this statement : the PP WT is the PP to have ! Of course, it is not a very complicated watch, it doesn't cost a fortune but I don't care. But this watch has a really great charm, and if you like it, you fall in love for a w...

But I can't decide which one is Batman and which one is just the pal and assistant of Batman. You can't imagine how often I am having these two watches side-by-side and try to understand which one is boosting my heart more. Best, Kari
It's not only that Nico.

The more I look at the dial of 5134P, the nicer it looks. Also the watch is very readable; I can always tell quickly what is the time. Furthermore, the movement does not feel too small but looks really nice on this 37mm watch. And in the end, the winding ...

Hi Imran, There's very little I'd voluntarily sale in my now reduced collection. I had a budget for the 5711 in the spring once my Polaris was sold. I was at the crossroads with PP to buy it but I was alone in fact. Things happen, or not. I'm now back on ...
I know this feeling, my friend, and I know what you mean.

The Nautilus is your dream, while the 5110, no matter its color, certainly is another great choice. The 5110 is also an easier watch to get.... I am wishing you will find YOUR dream watch, one day. As you know, it is a matter of patience, luck, and time. ...

Dear Nicolas, great post like always. Happy birthday to your worldtimer. I acquired my 5110P back in 2007 and I can still recall that I was really happy on the way for pick up. Still the watch remains my favorite. Superfine, elegant, understated and very ...
Not that one?

I am losing millions of brain cells per week so memory is foggy. I recall some 5 years ago, Patek Philippe issued a small run (12 or 25 pieces?) Officer's Case, white dial, NO strike mechanism NOR perpetual calendar. I seem to remember it was the thinnest...

I did a search of my old report and I did mention the reference number...I had forgotten that I did. :-) The marvel of the SEARCH button revealed the ultra-thin mechanical manually wound movement; Caliber CHR 27-525 PS; Split seconds monopusher chronograp...
Happy Anniversary Nico!

Everytime you post your great pics of your great 5510 Pt, it reminds me of my silly stupid crazy decision when I sold my 5110 in R version. It was great but I wanted to finance another PP piece and I had no other choice (unless not buying the other one). ...

I got a bracelet to my 5120. I also checked if it would be possible to get a bracelet for my wife's 4897G. Geneva said "yes" even this watch is not made as a bracelet version. As far as I know, this kind of cases are decided by Geneva. If your sales perso...
