re: application process, I was told by my AD that Patek had sold a MR through his shop, and the typical MR approval came with a purchaser who was a collector, owned 9+ Pateks of various calibers and varying complications. ( All in I figure that would mean in terms of "investment" in Patek double to a few times the cost of the MR just for the opportunity to purchase one )
