I own it and love it, the 44mm Natilus is unique and fully deserving of the 40th anniversary edition. The price of the 5976 was $23k less than the new regular production 40mm perpetual so the comments about making an anniversary edition for less doesn't make sense. Have any of the complainers looked at the secondary prices of the 1300 5976’s produced? No matter how technical or complicated the market speaks volumes...Jim

....yes, the finishing does seem of a higher standard to the 5170......yes... On 5131.....i can't tell you as mine doesn't arrive until next week!!!
