Patek Philippe

Rude, offensive, intolerant, uneducated and breaking rules?

By saying that "an argument could be made", I was saying it was one of many hypothetical viewpoints. And I would agree with Baron that how and if someone decides to display their wealth (or not) is up to them. I didn't say there is anything wrong (or right) with this. Perhaps my wording was not really clear enough in terms of elegance - "if viewing a watch as something purely to be worn" would have been a better way to word it. If a watch purchasing decision is being made by someone purely on that basis then I would expect the physical proportion of their wrist to be taken into account by the wearer. That is just my personal expectation and this a forum after all, full of opinions and expectations. How someone interprets that proportion is their personal style and I did not make any judgements on whether the watch shown was, or was not, in proportion. (Although several other people in this thread did). I was merely offering up some hypothetical perspectives to help with the decision. I should apologize though, I wrote the post in a hurry and some of the grammar was incorrect.
