They changed the date wheel to get the alignment

Even the smart watchmaker can make this error
The shock on my face was apparent to the watchmaker. He had just returned the parts to and mentioned that the date wheel need to be changed. I did not really mind until I held the watch in my hand and it felt wrong to me. It was obvious the moment I put the watch on my wrist. Needless to say the watch was returned and reassembled correctly. You hear about these special destro model. I do not believe such a watch existed because it is impossible to operate with one hand when assembled this way.
It was a fun adventure with a happy end but if you see this model with the pusher on the left have it modified to its correct position.

i personally prefer the ploprof and love its design and solidity. i sold mine as i dont think it is an easy watch to wear in normal clothing, but as a dive watch it is one of the best. i cant understand why, as far as i'm aware, no company like comex, too...
