The draw of the Canopus is not the dial, although the silvery dial is definitely an allure. The Canopus is about having an icon in PM and flies under the radar.
Comparing to other white dial versions, this appears to be a bright white vs silver or cream. I like the bolder text on the sundials and the splash of red and ?orange on the seconds brings in other variations we've seen. ...

The only Omega that had me making a reservation was the Railmaster 60th. If that was a white dial manual wind ranchero, I’d be putting my name down with an AD pronto. Having said that, I am mightily tempted with this one. Never say never
