Its the Omega Pre Bond Seamaster this is the model just before the James Bond one.
Yours is a quartz, there was a good guide online but with photobucket having changes all the images are gone. I think yours is full size quartz (there was a medium). The full are less common than mid size but quartz was the most produced model. Its the first generation model (Mercedes hands and single buckle) while the 2nd generation is sword hands and double buckle but there have been variations on both. It is a great set to have and so much more when it belongs to a relative.
Ill add that they came in black and champagne dials and either stainless steel or two tone. Quartz and auto were available and rarity of each depends on movement used and size.

My pleasure :) Thank you for sharing your dad's timepiece with us, if you do get a chance to open the caseback, make sure to see if you can find the serial number, you can order the "Extract of the Archives" from Omega
Basically just the date of production and where it was shipped to, it's an expensive piece of paper (I think 120CHF last time I ordered) but its a nice treat to have along with your timepiece.

Better check to see the condition of the movement and make sure there’s no battery leakage.

I love it :D the Omega 1441 is probably the rarest of the Quartz pieces, if I remember correctly they produced them from 87-88 its about as good as you can get for an Omega Pre-Bond Quartz :D
