I almost bought one
Sorry for not responding sooner. I put a big deposit down on an enamel 50th anniversary Speedmaster. This was in the morning. When I arrived later in the day with the rest of the money, I took a closer look at the Speedy. To my utter horror, I detected a nasty dent on the bezel. I immediately cancelled the watch and got my deposit back. I'm still really partial to the broadarrow GMT but I think owning it may diminish my collection somewhat because it's the same watch as the aqua terra GMT. Perhaps I should wait for the in house cal 9300. The new Omega cal 9300 should be 'da bomb'. It will be a great chronograph movement and worthy of the Speedmaster.
I think I'll keep the Daytona because it adds substance to the collection. Here's a picture of it. What do you think?

The pictures are posted one on top of the other, in regular fashion. I don't know why it doesn't appear that way when you see it. Strange to say, I like using the Opera browser, and it sometimes acts flakey. So maybe that might be it. In Opera or Explorer...
