From a heritage perspective ...
I appreciate “Speedmaster Professional” and understand it’s value as a collector piece, but as someone who’s collection of Omegas reflects their current value as a tool watch I would MUCH prefer the 9300/9900 movement:
1. Much more accurate (eerily accurate)
2. 15,000 gauss
3. Ersatz dual time function
As much as it would be nice for varieties sake to have different movements I have 9300’s in my Seamaster AND Speedmaster...if it works why fix it?

It is the right thing to do....keep the robustness of manually wound chronograph, while adding extra anti-magnetic properties, longer PR, and co-axial uniqueness of Omega... , all without changing the aesthetic...we don't lose anything. But I really wish ...
