Well.....
firstly, since I have one, there's got to be something about this piece I like...
That's the Minerva movement. I'm not saying the 309 it's a horrible model but for my taste the 322 is head and shoulders above the 309 (yes, the brown dial does it). Secondly, the Titanium takes away some of the charm. It doesn't have the same "impact" of a 127, 203 and now 372, to be sure. Take the 36, argueably my favourite model, if it had been made in SS it would be "up-there" with the 203 or the 21, but the Titanium simply doesn't do it....IMHO

you're in an enviable positon. Your 309 is, infact, a 322 (one of my favourite PAMs). The 309, in my opinion never quite made it there. Yes, it has a superb Minerva vintage caliber, but the Titanium takes a bit of PAM DNA off, IMHO... Cheers - Sergio

One has gotta give Panerai on their construction of their titanium case...simply one of the best in the market. And I am unsure, even if it was given a SS case, it will be "up there" with the 203. I always feel that collectors prize and price Luminors abo...

Just two prototypes have survived, one with a second hand counter apparently, which I think would have spoil the purity of the dial design, but hey, what do I know about designing dials. I also don't know why the Panerai people keep calling it German Navy...

At the end I prefer the OEM straps... It fits better, not ridiculously long and I feel more appropriate... Your fiddy on the burgundy looks awesome... And I'm surprised that black JV works well on the 232... I'm missing the times with those beauties.. Unf...
